Good memories of the day, stunning car Dean!! Love the wheels on the '3200' spyder ;-)... Great 'free chips'... Good chat with Robert, Arfa, Dean and Steve... Good to get the southern triangle together again (Newbury/Reading/Basingstoke) great to meet Clive, Rex, Martin and a few others I'm sad to say I can't remember the names of! Good to see a few faces I even remember the names of! And Beau, of course, the one I have to blame for me parting with cash about 18 months ago! 17 Maseratis at The Old Orchard I think, with more at the Ace, dwarfed any other makes car count... Good day everyone

Just in from an enjoyable afternoon and evening, was Beau there? If you were, I'm sorry I missed seeing you mate! Lovely to see an F1 being used, likewise an 8C I'm not sure I'll bother taking the Alfa again, it is hardly photogenic, only got its back end into one of the photos above!

Great company, as ever lovely conversations and Ian, that is a quality graft and worth all the leg pulling about having a 3200 spyder!

Great 1st meet for me and good to meet you all. Really good turnout and thanks for the warm welcome into the SM bosom. Just finished catching up on the work I would have done this arvo! Some really nice examples with a really good cross section of cars......and people!

I'll keep my 4200 warm for you Ian and you can 'upgrade' in a few years ;) Really looking forward to getting the car in to get a little exhaust tweaking done. Best wishes Clive and great to talk....chin up and be strong....and enjoy life....you know as much as most it is not a rehearsal. Use me and us all here when you need to.

Shame I had to shoot home and babysit so missed the McLaren's. Any other nice motors turn up tonight after I left? I still have Maser V8 notes ringing in my ears....mainly Benny & Mark's!! However those GT 4.7 GTS's sound lush ;)

Great turn out at ace, from us and others

Was great to hear you have had trouble free motoring Ian, of course not unexpected being a superior 3200

And yep I was there Newton, we obviously missed each other some how!

Evening! Managed to make it there at around 7, so sadly missed all the beautiful cars in daylight.

Had a swift half inside with my mate, and then wondered around looking at all of the metal on display - aside from the Maserati's the 8C and the original 500 caught my eye.

Timed it badly I think as only managed to speak to a very nice chap called Tony, who is a 4200 owner but didn't have it with him, so if you are on here, was nice to meet you and hear about your lovely sounding car.

Phil, pretty sure I was stood behind your 3200 talking to Tony as you left, so didn't get a chance to say hello!

First visit to the Ace, car park smaller than I imagined, but the cafe part and food certainly looked good :)

Those D four A stars M weren't N the word it looks like. So I picked it out in capitals embedded in the previous sentence as I don't like being misrepresented. Steve.

Just got home after a nice run back. A good 380 mile post-restoration shake down and she never missed a beat. Good to see some new faces and some craggy old ones, a great way to spend a day. It was fantastic to see an F1 and an 8C being used, but both are more common than a 4300 spyder! Roll on Le Mans.

A great day with an excellent turn out. It was really good to see some new faces and lovely cars, plus a fair few of the old reprobates. Benny, your spyder looks great after the rebuild, I'm just sorry you ran out of cash and had to fit those cheap rear lights!! Roll on the next one!
