The good morning thread

Morning you lot!
I feel quite well rested after yesterday's minor op. The outer dressing fell off in bed overnight so I've had a quick look at what's underneath before redressing for another day. The consultant was good fun and the banter during the procedure was both interesting and amusing. It was hard work for him and I could feel him really yanking my head around at times. That said, it was also more straightforward than he'd expected so I'm expecting a successful outcome.
I'm not allowed to do anything strenuous, or do much bending down for a few days.
HapPea Saturday!

Yup, yanking an entire brain out through one of those tiny burr holes isn't easy. :D

Seriously, I hope recovery goes really well!

Morning all, hoping to go for a walk this afternoon. Not much else.

Might make mince pies today, though. Made stock yesterday instead

Morning, all.

@MrPea , I hope you’re felling better.

Yesterday was a day of graft digging out 30’ across the front of my drive for new gates and concrete in a new RSJ track. That’s a lot of rubble dug out and a lot of ballast and cement chucked in. Need to load it in to the remaining skip bags today for collection tomorrow. After that, new gate posts which should be delivered this week and then - in a few weeks - new gates. A few other errands on the to-do list, not least of all mowing the lawn and wielding a drill with wild abandon to get a picture hung. Or is it hanged?

Thanks, Adam,
Doing well thanks. The outer dressing came off today so I now look a lot less in-the-wars. Just trying to avoid scratching my head when it itches.

Good morning, and a very happy Monday to you all. Beautiful sunrise to greet us today. This was the sunset yesterday when we were out for a stroll.

Today, stuff, stuff, stuff to do. And a run to the hospital this afternoon with my father-in-law to get his cataract dealt with.
