Hi All,

We will be staying at the Holiday Inn, Milton Keynes for the night of Saturday 7th December.

We have a block booking of 25 rooms made up as follows...

8 x Double Executive rooms.
9 x King Executive rooms.
8 x Double Executive + Sofabed.

Select the room type you would like on a first come first served basis.

All rooms are no smoking.
All rooms are £90.00 for the night, which includes breakfast, either full English or Continental. Breakfast runs from 7.30am to 11am.
The room rate is the same whether single or double occupancy.

Check-in is from 2pm.

You will need to make your own room reservations under the block booking reference included below.
You will be asked to guarantee the room with a credit card, with payment on departure.

As you will be guaranteeing the room on your credit card, there is no need to keep the block booking reference confidential so...

Block Booking reference - Maserati EG3.

The hotel has an 80 bay open but barriered car park. Parking is charged at £6.00 but cannot be pre-booked.
Alternatively there is a council run car park opposite the hotel, which is free after 6pm.

The block booking will run until 7th November, after which any rooms not allocated will be released, so please make your reservations before that date to avoid the possibility of not getting in, or suffering the prevailing room rate.

So I can monitor the confirmations, can you post here once you've booked....

Booked a room but some confusion.....They couldn't find the reference. Have booked a room for £84 with breakfast for us both although I would think its a standard room but can cancel up to 4 on the day with no charge......He did say to phone the hotel tomorrow if I wanted to query.

Does my head in stuff like this! They make it largely pointless to make a block booking!!

Andy, thanks for that. I'll follow it up with the hotel tomorrow to find out why there is a difference in price.

Who is everyone booking with? I tried online a couple of hours ago and it came back with no availability. I called the hotel and they told me the reservations team had gone home and to call back tomorrow!
Where is this £84 with breakfast rate available??

I called the number on the link that Miles posted...The number at the top. He said the hotel was full and there was no Maserati reference but there was rooms saved so he thought they must have been the ones so gave me one of those. I'm not concerned about King size etc as long as I have a room to rest our weary heads.......

You have to go through to the hotel reception and not the central booking number.

It took me three goes yesterday to work this out, by that time the block booking team had gone home.

Have left a message for them to call me back.

Tel number is: 0871 942 9057 and its the last option, speak to receptionist from memory.
