Frank the 4200 should have the 12v lighter type socket, just above the on/off switch in the boot, left of the battery..!!

He has a point, but if you are just trickle charging it should not be an issue, just don't try to use this to charge a flat battery..!!

MLC, thanks for your answer. I have permanently attached the terminals to the battery, so I can just connect the charger in the boot space when I need to.

That's how my GS is currently set up, but I need the charger to attach to it..!!

If your connecting directly to the battery and the connection is more or less permanent, you don't need to switch the power to off, just don't connect a live feed, connect first then switch the charger on. Or you can switch the power off if you want..??

You shouldn't have to switch off the battery switch as the charger will apply 12V directly to the battery, the current applied goes to the battery. I've just nipped to my boot to take some photos.

The first photo, shows the general layout, note that on top of the battery is my battery terminal to socket connector ready to accept the CTEK charger plug(orange and black)

More detailed shot of the whereabouts of the 12V socket above the battery isolation switch.

It is best practise to connect the charger to the battery, (it doesn't really matter if you do positive or negative first) then turn on the charger. This eliminates the risk of sparks, after all a charging battery creates Hydrogen! Likewise, turn off the charger before disconnecting it.

Don't really know of any other car that comes with a battery isolator as standard fitment.
Definitely handy though.
For those system resets!!!

They're quite common in Italian cars - for good reason! My F355's had isolators, as did my Diablos. Never needed to use them on the Lambos, but the Fezza's benefitted from a turn-off/reset procedure.

For those wanting pretty lights, install the LED Fuses, when they blow they light up, so when the car stops in the middle of nowhere in the dark, you will have pretty lights on to cheer you up..!!:f2:
