I reaslly think that in a few years from now, the QP is going to be *the* iconic recent Maserati. It never ages!!

The Lotus were brilliant little things P, but a short wheel base under a light body and all the weight in the middle, well the kick plate did for them, ...they just span (most of the time). You could tell they would be amazing fun with a little downforce though.

Thanks for the vid's Dan. Looks like you had as much fun in the afternoon session as we did in the morning session. How did Malcolm get on? Shame there's no footage of his Ghibli.

Yes indeed Miles....just goes to show how difficult it is plus........in real life.....0.1 of a sec to recover a slide etc.....on a normal road...that means an automatic accident!

Thanks for organising the day. The Ghibbers is very scruffy at the moment so who would want to take piccies of it? :)

We had a great time as ever and the lightweight ( yet to be painted ) boot lid had no adverse effect on the handling, nor did it leak (it hasn't any flanges!). Still have some understeer to sort....yes on a Ghibli....griefe!

Might be the last time she goes to Rockingham though we have bought three of the four wings and will be spending money on having the bodywork sorted this winter, amongst other things!

By the way at least one lotus had track tyres on so didn't stand a chance!

Llandow here we come.................
