I reckon more of a wow. Could be a fun Sunday car with plenty of turbo grunt and it looks cool too. A thumbs up from me.

Fantastic, a lot of effort has gone into that car. Nt to everyone's taste, but I really like it

Bah. Not heading there until May ;)

Holy ****, just seen it is actually in the same town as the office of the company we've just acquired.

You need to hurry up then, C, before some young entrepreneur, freshly minted by the benevolence of your company, gets in before you!

Well, I *am* going to Cost Mesa in May.....

Surely 5 cars would be regarded as extravagant by *anyone* (Why on earth I'm asking this question here is beyond me!)

Nice, I would change the wheels but that is about all. Off to look at transport costs from California - I wish

It's a bit of a shame that he's sacrificed the rear seats for nothing more than a battery and a couple of relays which could have gone in the boot and kept the car a genuine four-seater which is one of its appeals to me.

Also the lights removed, for cooling presumably, looks a bit gormless.

It looks like it could be a blast to drive but if I was putting that much dosh into a Bertie I think I would go for one of Alfaholics' wonderful machines.

$29k would not buy you a lot of Alfaholics bits, might just about buy you a shell ready for restoration. Alfaholics restorations are in the range £40k - £100k or more depending on spec but they are well made and well sorted.

Good point. I just saw lots of zeros and assumed it was dear. By Alfaholics prices it is indeed cheap!

Still, when I win the lottery I know which one I'd prefer :)
