That would be great Frank, really helpful... BUT if they aren't replying to mails and they haven't supplied a phone number, there's nowhere you can go and look at it!

Of course it might be sold hence no replies, or some scam I can't get my head round...

I might play along to see what the scam is -
I'm guessing here will be a deposit needed, or funds for shipping. Intrigued how it works anyway and they have my email so no loss.

Shame, but too good to be true :)

Bit of an expert here Lewis, been there before , great fun and an enjoyable wind up , get hold of the £10K in readies £10 and £20 notes to bulk it out a bit Place it in a brief case on your desk and take some picks with the lid open so its evident that there's loads of money in bundles , a copy of thats days Times newspaper laid close by would be good , then reply by mail as you would if really interested , tell them your happy to come out to veiw the car pre purchase and have the funds readily available (attach picture) then ask for the viewing address time and day so that you could arrage a flight etc then wait for the reply , by this stage seeing the money hopefully the greed sets in

What they are really after is just the holding deposit usually a grand tranferred by Western Union, that then is generally scam over .............they tend then to go dormant on the subject

But with the thought of a further £9k we might be able to flush them out into the open , if your interested we can take it further .............i assure you no money has to be used at any stage other than for the initial picks

It's a very funny website dedicated to scamming the scammers. If anyone has time, I recommend having a look through some of this to see what this guy managed to get the scammers to do for him - photos etc!

Going to be difficult to carry this one, 'she' has already stated 'she' is a Slovakian deaf woman. Not much to go on if you're a (likely) chap in Africa.

I might just keep persuing and see how the scam works, as Loz says, probably want a deposit via Western Union, something like that. Either that or I say I'm in Bratislava next week and would LOVE to see the car!

Better still...contact the British consul in Bratislava and ask them to visit with the local police......up the ante!!!!

i did that some time ago when i said id be in finland so no point sending dep now but they got out of it by saying they will take a dep with someone else who is interested instead.....bastards!!

I'm pretty sure it'll just be some bloke in Nigeria Frank! I'm guessing Slovenia was just picked randomly... I'll fire off a quick mail now anyway!

Thanks for getting back to me. I am located in the UK, can you tell me where the car is so that I can have a look at it? The pictures seem to show it somewhere in the USA but I could be wrong of course?
Can you tell me how many miles it has done and whether it does indeed have the original V8 engine fitted?
