Yep as Benny says, serious amount of rain. M6 home wasn't much better, but got back in time to nip to the pub for a couple of swift lunch time pints. That site is a pain as I managed to ground the Khamsin trying to get out without spinning wheels.

Good catching up with the guys, sorry if I didn't get to catch with everyone, too busy trying to get warm.
Poor Miles was shivering whilst talking to us as he'd been on site since 8am. And then there were those who arrived to be part of the concours way after our convoy arrived. Different rules, or does it depend on who you know......
Hope you get a few brandy's down your neck when you get in Miles.

The Fezza turnout was magic, I was taking bets with my brother and mate as to how many would turn up. Three when we left, obviously there cars don't work in the wet ! LOL

Till the next meet, I can make, which won't be until August for me, I look forward to meeting up with you guys. Kudos to all who made it.

Benny your exhaust was insane best noise at the show....

All the way back people were filming us as we tootled along. Not sure whether it was because of the exhaust sound or because we had the roof down in the p1ssing rain! Interesting day out, so thanks guys.

Ferrari owners don't come out in the rain as they don't like to mess up their haircut, I only saw a 308 and that was it......great turnout by Maserati in such poor weather, hope you did not damage your car bal

We counted 3 in the end, 308, 348 & 355. But that whole section where they usually park was empty. I was joking with the Migliore guys as on the last two visits there were a lot of Fezza in for work, not many Maseratis and I said you can tell when it's no longer winter etc as the red cars are all coming out.

I don't think there is any damage the floor pans are lower than the sill line and I think the right hand rear pan touched, but will check it when the rain dries off not the best to lie in at the moment.

I must admit I didn't take many pictures in the end, only three cars. Didn't even take any of my own hands were too cold.

Benny's car sounded like he had a brace of banshees in a bag being throttled (don't ask me where I got that line from, I have a depraved mind), awesome!

Losing two cars in the convoy wasn't too bad given the weather we had, but Frank you were still missed, as were you Dem.

Some pictures, notice the empty field behind the Ghibli where the Fezzas normally park.

Respect to all the forum guys.........your combined kudos and true enthusiasm showed up the rest of the poncy Ferrari owners!!

Glad you got there and still enjoyed it Bal.

I think only entrants from the UK Maserati club are allowed in the concours event.

Very nice day despite the shocking weather, some stunning cars on display, highlight of the day was following the Black 8C down, side by side with the owner on the M6 and i kept giving him the signal to boot it, stunning soundtrack but jesus christ Ian, your 4200 is insane. Will upload some pics.

Anyone know who had the BF Gransport ? i did not get a pic as i did not see it arrive and it left when i was leaving.

Oh and Ferrari owners, you really are a group of sad b*stards.

Did not take many pics due to the weather and the camera got drenched, anyways, some of my faves. Despite the silly price tag, i want a 695 Tributo 500 Abarth in Yellow and i would commit a serious crime to own a Ghibli Cup, so d*mn cool.

Adam, the BF car you saw was the 4200 spyder that was up for sale at Nouvola (a la Fuji thread). However, close up it looked like a flat white and not pearlescent. BTW, kudos for attending despite the weather and for the good piccys.

Dem, my spyder has been modded since the last time you saw it; the centre silencer has been removed which sharpens the sound up a little bit as the guys will testify! The 8C, as always, was very nice as were many of the Masers on display.

Ah, I didn't see that one, and the spyder had gone by 3 pm. TBH, I wasn't that impressed by the spyder.
