As usual Bristol are running there Auto Italia day again this year, one of if not the Best events of the year, Maserati have had an increasingly good turn out year after year , and as usual in the middle of the event we meet up for a group meal at San Carlos restaurant , some of us tend to make a weekend of it and are staying at the Thistle hotel slap back in the middle of the Hub-ub with secure overnight parking if you havent already registered and want to attend and join in the showing For entries please visit www.italianautomotoclub.co.uk and click the BIAMF tab. Do not know if any other Maserati Owners have received this email but I have been told today that due to erecting some scaffolding, 12 slots had to be lost and therefore I was one of them to go.

I hope to be able to pass on some info after the briefing - including whatever transpires at the time. Biggest problem is going to be some new scaffolding on Corn Street that I was not pre-warned about!

As far as im aware we are not normally in Corn street , but one of the side streets leading on to it , i guess due to the scaffolding he has had to move Alfa's off Corn street to one of the side streets it is Alfa centenary this year i believe so they have pride of place on Corn street , i believe Massers will have Corn street in 2014 when its our centenary sorry to hear that spike has he offered you altenative parking or what

Guys I had the same email just a few days ago so the writing was on the wall. Believe it or not mine has now sold (guy paid deposit today and picking up on sat). All in all I have decided to miss Bristol auto italia this year and apols Safrane we won't be coming up to Bristol. We Will however still be coming to the lakes (not sure what car yet though!!). I aim to spend a few months in the background until work more certain then hope on lookout for new maser. Sorry to mess you around on this guys!

Dont know what to say Andy, of course im pleased that you have the sold car quickly, it will go a long way to easing life for a while for you the missus and the kids most importantly , but gutted its all come to an abrupt end so quickly , really enjoyed meeting you and i sincerely hope that life in general looks upwards for you and ultimately see you in another Maserati soon as

Well done Andy...your car looked a ******* in the classifieds so was never going to stick around for long. You will go from one car to another (like me) but Maserati never really gets out of your mind and heart.

Just updating a few of us are arriving on the Friday day time , i think Local lads Marcos and Masersod ( hopefuly Safrane and Sophie) are game for an evening curry and a pint , and if last year was anything to go by food was excellent and company even better, all are welcome to join us ,it'll be a good way to get to know each other
