For all the work you put into this it's a shame you can't make it, Andy. Gutted for you.

Wishing all the rest of you a great day. Please post pics, and lots of 'em!

Completely knackered, but such a good day. Didn't stop all day and we raised just short of £1K for the cause. Nice to catch up with everyone and to see a few new faces. Particular thanks to Andy and his wife for managing to pack a gazebo and full picnic into the boot of the Rame, and for brilliant organisation on the gate. Thankfully (though we had many young passengers full of burgers, crisps and ice-cream) there were no puking issues, and Track Demon trophy goes to Newton who got 150 on the back straight and managed to spin at least once. Thoroughly recommended for next year and thanks for the heads up AndyK.

Just got in... Absolutely knackerd!

Gate raised £1,080.00 well done all, the que never went down and we were only frustrated by the limited number of driver passes (6 shared with Mitubitsi gang) only 3 between the 6 or 7 massers... Andy thank you so much for getting this gig it was simply the finest day ever I ragged my car stupid all day and not only did it no break it actually fixed itself!!!! My driver's seat has seldom come forward by itself and has never returned; now works perfectly, amazing!!!

Indeed serious thanks to all the organisers and our two lovely other halfs who kept us supplied with a constant stream of people to convert or amaze all day; my youngest fan was probably about 4, sitting in the back as mum was in the front, her brother wanted to go on his own in the GTS, she just giggled, bounced around and wanted to go faster because of the lovely noise they make!

THis is my first time on a track with it other than wet handling and after just one sighting lap with my lad shotgun it was straight into taking punters around... Speeds, skills and abilities improved all day, after about 6 laps I dared to take off the MSP for the first time other than the wet handling day and the strange thing is I really didn't notice much difference except some signifficant drifts on the last couple of corners.

Two scary ones when first time I had been chasing down a VX220 on the straight only to find at the end of the big right hander he had STOPPED rather than mix it with a couple of the artic lorries who needed to change sides, being on the ragged edge I stood it on what brakes I had left to stop but ended up level along side him, thankfull there was room! The other was my spin out of the last corner giving it a blip to finish and over cooking it; no real drama, just manages about a 180 and just drove out of it with a wave to the photographer who needd a change of under garments...

This event works on so many levels, giving owners a chance to track a car all day for just a fiver, giving Joe public access to a ride in some simply awsome machines, raising some serious wedge for charity and much much more... Chissel me in in granite Andy I WILL be there...

Couple of photos to follow as soon as I get them from Alex!

It was Enzo. A real buzz to be got from the passengers that got a real kick from having a couple of minutes in the cars we're lucky enough to own. I didn't have a chance to take any photo's as I was out pretty much all day, but I know the other guys did, so I'll look forward to seeing them myself! :D

Gents...overwhelmed by your comments..... I knew you would enjoy yourselfs.........A big thank you from myself and ASDA for the money raised...It will go to a number of great causes..Wish I had been with you...Silly question but you don't happen to know who won the lorry driver of the year competition...Was it my Chepstow driver..No one has phoned me so I take it we didn't win.

Looking forward to the pictures

Great day thanks for the arrangements Andy. So busy all day with the rides and especially with the dream rides, one young lad i took out with his dad was just so excited he struggles with so many things normally he just wanted to get as fast as possible and i certainly tried, the fastest run of the day for me on the straight and very bubbly brake fluid after that run, scared me and the brave camera man on the last bend who bravely hung on and then moved....quickly. Over £ 1000 raised fantastic.

Great to put faces to forum names. I will be posting a few pictures i had time to take but didnt get many, but under a bit of pressure to take the missus out now so will be later on!!!!!

I could hardly sleep last night I was still buzzing from the intencity of the days activities, spending all day learning to quicken the reactions; I can see how racing is addictive....

The magnificent seven....

My middle lad Alex got a ride (eventually) in a GT40 and claimed the needle passed through 200 and was bouncing somewhere between 200 & 220mph on the straight!

And finally - from the air display, hats off and a salute to the last flying Vulcan Bomber that treated us all to an extended display of awsomeness!!!!
