Hi Andy, yes your guy was quite excited and said he simply had to get a go in a Maserati especially in your unwilling absence!

I forgot about one run I did with a pair of 6'+ air cadets in the back and their flight officer who made me look small in the front!!! That had a fair impact on the handling....!

Last corner was fun Andy, someone right there at the end of the circuit taking pictures or videos - there'll be a few good shots if you know who it was.

Yep - 15 min passenger wait for the rest of us - 2hours for the GTS

What we need is more GTS's next time, the wait certainly wasnt to do with my looks or driving ability!! Although i like to think so.

We do need to find that photographer, wonder if he was a pro? Mind you think a spinning mas prob scared him off.

He was up on his haunches the last time I came round that corner, thought he was about to Bolt



I actually only had about 10o of slip but that doesnt sound so driving god like does it.

Andy, When I took the gate money over at the end the video & photographers we in the control unit but they did not have any idea who was supposed to be co-ordinating them which struck me as a little strange, especially at that end of the day.

Chris Evans was talking to the owners of Bruntigthorpe 08.55 radio 2 about having the Dunlop bridge permenamtly! That would sort out the pits as suggested. Cool!!

Just an update from John on money raised...Thanks all for your support and let do bigger and better next time...

Hi Everyone
Firstly can I again apologise for the bad start we made this year , which will not happen again , we will have pat back next year and that will make the track run a lot smother as we all know, and we will not have any aircraft landing during the day at all , they will take off during the lunch time break , and will all be arriving on the Friday and getting into their static positions for the show , and we will put them up in the hotel over night,
We have tried to book the red arrows and filled in all the appropriate paper work ,and for the black cats Royal Navy display and the R.A.F.Chinook display ,but we will not know until February if we have them ,
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that the amount that will be given to the charity's this year will be £37,162 , I know its not as much as last year but we had 2,000 barriers that we had to pay nearly four times as much for because of the Olympics, and the show was much much bigger ,
Thank you for all your hard work on the day , and I hope to see you all next year,
