End os season Llandow track day

I have a cheap scooter helmet Ben and yes it's a bit tight in the Maser. I just recline the seat a bit and it helps.

Ben, you can hire on the day..Its £20 or is it £25..One of the two..You ned to leave a £70 deposit on a credit card just to make sure you give it back..You get the £70 back when you hand it back at the end of the day..........

Looking forward to it! Have even dropped the car off at the local specialist this morning to get rid of an annoying rattle when I pull away from a standing start (heat shield - apparently it's a common problem) and sort out a slightly kerbed wheel so it's looking it's best!

Ok - so in a fit of pre-planning I thought I'd fish out the old motorbike helmet and see if it still fits. It certainly still fits my head, but it's a very tight fit when I try to sit in the little Maz. It works, but I'm pressed up against the ceiling somewhat. I'm not that tall (6 foot or so) and the seat is at it's lowest setting. What do you guys do here - assuming your not all 5'3" and laughing?! If the track hires helmets maybe they're a little less padded than mine?

Andy might have someone interested in taking Jamies place is it still possible , or are we full , he's an Alfa owner driver , has a clean as a whistle Guillia sprint , fully restored by himself he's owns the Local Alfa garage,mentioned it to him just now as i was dropping the oil off for my oil change, he was gonna let me know on monday if he can make it

Sorry I won't be able to make it for this one - shame really since all my tyres need replacing anyway so I might as well finish them off
