Horse Shoe pass, great little road, bloody annoying during peak times though.

I thought the hand held obd/obdii readers could not read/reset airbag control units, mine certainly doesn't...but happy to be proved wrong :D

You are correct Enzo, i have one and it cannot reset safety critical lights such as airbag and abs .

Be great if you could Pat.......But understand if you can not.....

Peter's ferry has been delayed so doesn't look like he will make the meal......

Well I've left work early, at home now making final prep's and I'll be off.
Looks like I'll be meeting the early arrivals for a pint in the bar of the George around 6ish

Hey Andy,
Is there any parking around your way?
If I can make it, then it is more likely that I can come across earlier rather than later - so it could just be for a quick pint.

There is a main car park Pat..It's in the centre of Chepstow....Head towards the town centre...Go down the high street to the lights by the arch......The pub is the George on the right by the arch..There is a car park at the back if tyou can get in there....You go down the side of the butchers....

If not at the lights turn left and first right for the main car park...

Have a safe and enjoyable day guys i can't be there due to to much going on but my son will be there with our trusty Civic so please be nice to him.
He did more laps than me last time and drives smoother than me so he will be a good lad.
Once my life back on track will be up for the next one in 2012.
Phil.

Home safe and sound! Fairly good trip back, a couple of showers but managed to keep moving so didn't get too wet without the roof on :)

Andy, thanks for organising!! Had a brilliant day, great to see everyone and really pleased with the way the car is set up now.
Can't wait 'till the next one.

Look forward to catching up with everyone at Christmas do.

Me too Enzo absolutely , funny how once all that adrenalin disappears , the long drive home takes it all out of you , i crashed early now up at 4.30 and all bright eyed for qually , car looked and performed brill Enzo certainly stole the show and rightfully so a credit to you mate

regards loz

Great two days all.......weather held out and I actually caught the sun on my face.........Thanks for so many coming along this time.........

Dan, you must have been driver of the day..Watching you push you Elise through the bus stop and watching the back end step out....Brilliant...

Enzo, gentlemen of the day....Everyone wanted a piece of you and your obliged...Lots of smiling faces when they got out of Florence.....Thanks mate.

Even the ride home was good as I followed Loz...What a noise, what a car....Even if you went to go the wrong way...........I know what colour wheels I want when I buy a GS...Stunning Loz.....

Thanks for comiong along Tess I'm glad you all enjoyed it....PLus bring along a number of Alfa's to brighten up the car park as well...

It was great to see the owner of the Italian coming along for a look as well.....Perhaps next time we will get him on track in his 159...

All in alll a successful day and eveing.........

Morning all, just surfaced after going to bed at 9 last night.

I think I am getting too old to drive all day, drink for 10 hrs, sleep for three hours, race all day and drive for 4 hours home again.

Especially as I got 10 mins from the circuit to hear a heavy knocking coming from the front left. The tyre was knackered so I just pushed on and got on the M4. Things started to get really bad and the knocking turned into a banging.

I thought I had ripped a drive shaft gaiter and all the grease had drained out, had a delaminating tyre, or it was a collapsing wheel bearing.

Dived into the services to find my wheel nuts had come loose and I was about to loose my front left. Luckily I caught it just in time.

Think I'll be talking to the guy who serviced my car a week ago!

Bloody great fun though. OK I took the family soot chucker bet she did not do too bad. She ran out of puff up the straight but was awesome in the bends.

Really enjoyed it and thanks to Big Chris for sitting in with me an showing me the track, a special thanks to the best sounding car of the day by a country mile, Loz, for letting me take his GS out. Andy for all his organisation, hats off to you fella. David and Miles for helping me prop up the bar till 3am, Tess for all her kind words about the forum, Myles and Emblem for turning up with a fully stocked support van, Paul for wearing the overalls with me and Enzo (fabulous car, loved the parcel shel stitching and belts) and the silly hat, taking the attention off us, Steve, Dan and all the rest of the chaps who made it a brilliant, brilliant weekend.

Still suffering now......a sign of a good time in my books!
