If my friends are coming in my car it will be Thurs Night to London then Friday-Monday in France. I don't think they can get that much time away from HMP's

If not then I may come down for the whole week!...if Sophie will permit!

Loz is checking if we can get free parking inside as the Sports Maserati Club.

Will know Friday...

Are you going for Dunlop too Enzo? + Are you going via the chunnel on the Friday-Monday?

Not sure about Dunlop Peter, will go with the majority...
I will be going via chunnel, either Friday-Monday, or earlier if I can sort out more time off :D

OK then, I'll double check with my mates on whether they can come and for how long then get back to you on the day of the week that I will go,

Oooh very exciting, and there was me thinking it may be a quiet year with no trip to Le Mans

An offer of interest?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Whether you are planning a day trip, short break or a long stay trip to the continent via France, take advantage of the Seafrance 2011 sale and travel in space, comfort and style, saving money!

Spend the day in France and enjoy the Pas-de-Calais region from £19* return.
You might prefer their Short Break Offer if you're looking to grab a couple of days away on the continent. If so then travel from just £20** each way.
Looking for a long stay of 5 days or more? Travel from just £29*** each way.

These offers won’t last long so book as soon as possible avoid missing out!

Kind Regards
The Sales team

So it's cheaper to book 2 day trip returns than the 5 day return and just not show up for the day trip return leg.

I always use SeaFrance the have been brilliant to date.

Matt small print states if you do that you will receive a sur-charge as I used to think the same on the Euro Star

This is going to be a corker :)

Guys, as Enzo says I have put myself in Parking Blanc, no idea if that's good or not but GOT to be better than the queue we found ourselves in last year for Expo! I will scope it out Friday morning and set locations in the 2 satnavs, will aim to head in early on race day morning.

Dunlop is the BEST grandstand, you have a view down the straight, of the pits, up the hill and through the esses - if you want to see a few spins, they are all at the esses. Also a great view of the big screen opposite to see the cars elsewhere on the track and see who's leading. Right on the bridge (obviously) so easy to cross the track. Trust me on this (Jedi mind tricks...)

Anyone seen the Audi R18? The scariest car I have ever seen, imagine that coming up in your rearview mirror... Poor old Aston, their LMP looks a bit limp by comparison

Are we stickering up the cars to look like racers? My DB9 is Aston racing green so it's having a yellow fish mouth and stripes plus big white roundels and Striling Moss' number 7.

Enzo, would love to see the 550, especially after all Prodrive's success at LM with it. Could do a lovely sticker scheme, what colour is it?

Don't worry Peter, I'll keep you honest at your stag do. Shame we all have to drive home on race night, but there'll be plenty of opportunity to get you hammered...

Challenge of the week - get Peter to have his shirt untucked for a WHOLE DAY ;)

The Aston in Brg will lok awesome striped up Lewis

Might go for some on the metal bodywork , but no stickers are touching my bumpers , not again cost me £600 to have them repainted , do like the idea of stripng up tho , and ive still got a set of No 5 roundels , might surprise everybody yet

Trying to find a reasonable quote for my racing stripes...even if its just somthing to cover the nose to prevent stone chips.

Shirt hanging out...is that not the style used for those with a fat **** or pot belly?

Go home race night...are we not taking oour duvettes there to the track!

Hi Lewis,
I have my fingers crossed that the 550 will be ready...that is what I am aiming for :D
Will start to look at racing decals soon, she is tour de france blue.

Enzo.

Not BRG, Chiltern green, like this http://www.carpages.co.uk/aston_martin/aston_martin_dbr9_04_11_04.asp

So that yellow mouth and few pinstripes... should look great!

Would be good if we all got stickered up, adds to the event!

Did someone mention stickers and decals!

You know me I like a little make up for the car, a of bit bling, tasteful of course!

Last year was the Trident on the side and on the bonnet which I thought looked well, this year what can we do?

A racing theme YES, Le Mans YES, Pete's stag do???
