Hi Matt,
Sounds good to me and yes Lady Stig will be with me to lend a hand...!!!:as006:
What are the actual dates involved, I will see if they fit..?? We will be leaving the UK during the weekend of the 8th/9th June and heading back about a week to 10 days later.
Cheers

I'll bring a bootful of beer, a bottle of Jura... do you know how far apart the places we are staying are?

The first night is Montreuil Sur Mer which is 40 mins South of Calais, second night is Bernay mid way between Montreuil and Pontvilain, no more than 100 miles.

19th we will be in Montreuil from 5pm then Bernay on 20th then Le Mans from 21st onwards.

We are operating a strict men only but for our lady Stig we will make an exception :)

Interesting read. Rule of thumb, don't speed on the Friday or Monday as you are expected and try and take a different route.

In France the cops can hide unlike in the UK.

If you feel a blast coming on, send one of the convoy off infront and have your passenger update via the phone.

Also, you will see the odd fool come haring past at 150plus. Let them have a 2 min head start as they will attract any lurking plod.

And lastly but most importantly, Le plod will always be waiting for you on a down hill or long flat. Never speed going over the crest of a hill. You can use this to your advantage as Le plod will never catch you going up an incline, they will always be over the crest so if you are going to play do it up the hill, you get me?

Second the cresting hill part, I got done coming over a hill last time, and also just after a change down in speed limit followed by a sweeping bend. Both times, the bike/car was hidden from view.

Indeed Chris. Le plod will be hiding on the main autoroutes from Calais and Le Harvre.

We're arriving at Caen 6:45 on Saturday morning and then heading to the OHs friend who lives in the University area of Le Mans. So, we should make it to the circuit well in time for the start.

:)
