Hi Andy, Is it okay for a friend to join us on Thursday / Friday? He's a colleague of Graham and me, and we've both offered him passenger rides in our cars. I'll sort him out with a hotel, but it would be one more for the Italian on Thursday evening. On that note I've passed the menu to Graham and will do the same for Carl if he can be accommodated.

If the forcast is good I may drive down on the Friday to say hello again...may even bring 'lotty down although she will liklky come away with a diagnosis of you all thats less than flattering. ;-)

Some good news on the Two Rivers...

When you book into the hotel I have arranged a rate of £60 not the £69 you have been quoted.....YOu just need to say it has been agreed with Eve and Karl and you are part of the SPorts Maserati group.

As I'm going to be in the area, I think I'll pop in to Prospeed in Cardiff on Thursday afternoon, talk exhausts with them.

Make sure you get talking to the South African guy (forgotten his name), he's the one who knows his stuff. I think they did mine for £650 all in - useful to know in case they try it on.

And if you do take the plunge ... thenI would INSIST that, on the day, you yourself put the car on the ramp. The mechanics had no idea how to work my CC gearbox.

What time are you guys up at Llandow? I may be surfing in Porthcawl on Friday, so could pop down to the track on the way back home.

What did you have done, was it the full system, just back boxes...?

Si gutted you can not come mate...No reserve list as you are the 4th one to drop out...If I can get some money back for ou I will..Maybe I can persuade someone on the day.

I may be down to say hi if the weather is kind...but I dont think I should take the Golf out...she drops a little oil and that chicane is tight enough without some slippy stuff spoiling the day.

I replaced the OEM scaffold all the way from exhaust manifold up as far as the back boxes, leaving those intact. I made sure that ProSpeed introduced some silencing as it had the potential to be very loud. (I was after HP rather than a change in noise.)

There should be some pics of the work done in a recent thread - do a search on ProSpeed if interested. If it doesn't show up easily, I can always post the pics here but I don't want to go too OT.
