Morning all, a client has dumped a £5 million potential contract loss squarely on my shoulders in an impossible timeframe to rescue it! NOT FAIR!!!! Now stressed to breaking point.

Have fun all....

You need to do what News of the World reporters did (allegedly). Make your excuses and leave them to it.

Morning all (just).

Another consultant appointment with Alex this morning. Bottom line is that we have another scan on Sunday and then they will either book her in for a C-section or let he go to full term.

By the time they make a decision she will already be at full term!

Morning, all. First today? Never a good sign.

Reigate today. Will be odd, I suspect. It's the funeral of one of my team who very sadly took his own life a couple of weeks ago. Given then odd world we live in, I'd not actually met him despite being there for over 6 months, however it's had a significant effect on the other members of my team, as I'm sure anyone that has been impacted by suicide will be aware.

Have a good one, all, and look after each other

Morning chaps and that's very sad Chris but we're in very strange times indeed.
Today I'm taking 4 cats in the Renault 4 off for a week's holiday in Brittany.
They will be in boxes so should be okay.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all, last day WFH this week as it's a trip to the big city tomorrow - when I say big I mean in an Irish way

Now that's strange.

I hope it goes 'well' Chris. No one ever knows what to say at funerals, and they're even more stumped at the funerals of suicide victims. It will be a difficult one for sure.

But let's face it, Phil still wins the prize for odd today. :)

I'm just amused at his naivete that 4 cats will be OK. Because they're in boxes........ :D

Yes indeed. Funerals are never great. I was asked to speak at the funeral of another team member some years ago that died in a motorcycle accident. Without doubt one of the hardest things I've done.

Not my job today, though, for which I am thankful

Just to point out they are going to be in proper small animal boxes for travelling nice and safely.
Love my kitties :)

Morning all. Work has gone mental again, finished at 11.30ish last night and have loads to do today starting with a conference call in 30 minutes, and then organising a load of stuff.

On the plus side I'm looking forward to invoicing a client hopefully today!
