Do you have to ask nicely for a cup of tea afterwards?A Goblin Teasmaid usually does the trick.

I did Gerardmer it is pretty much a 50/50 split. Reims/Calais is 8.5 & 2.5 and Mulhouse/Calais is 4.5 & 7 plus the 3+hrs on crappy Brit roads.Anyone looking to break the return on Sunday night, maybe Mulhouse or Reims?
Anyone stopping over in Plymouth on the evening of the 20th? Get the party started early...we have booked in to the Copthorne.
San Bernadino is awesome, did the Grande and the Petit on bikes many times over the years. Motorbikes, not cycles I may add!!! Way too unfit for that malarkey! We've got a seriously extended route planned - returning to Lake Constance via San Bernadino pass (the pass not the tunnel, weather permitting) then weave round the German Alpine route for six nights to the Austian/Salsburg boarder then a four night run back to Calais for the crossing. Re getting to Plymouth - getting there Tuesday, or even Monday, is on the cards. Thanks Liamp for the heads up - will consider as may also be visiting relatives.
Thank you for the code. Unfortunately I have also discovered that Coutts doesn't work - "Your bank is not accesible (sic) for SEPA direct debits."Just subscribed to bip and go which does 4 countries. Pay as you go so only get charged the months it is used and it is much cheaper than emovis. Also found a voucher code SUMMER which saved me 10 euros so it has only cost 14 euro to activate and deliver tag.
You have to set up a direct debit and need the Iban code form the bank (Nationwide no good, used Lloyds).
Shame. I had to use the missus account to get it through.Thank you for the code. Unfortunately I have also discovered that Coutts doesn't work - "Your bank is not accesible (sic) for SEPA direct debits."
I got mine as a just in case. Not sure if we will be on tolls other than France. Long term it is cheaper for future Le Mans trip so it made sense.I'm a bit confused (doesn't take much) - is it an idea for this great run to get tags (or whatever they are called) for Spain, France and Italy?
If your not, you will be lost mateWill we be on tolls in Spain and Italy?
Eb
It's a good idea but not necessary. The benefit is that you don't need to queue (probably) and don't have to faff about with tickets and cards at the tolls.I'm a bit confused (doesn't take much) - is it an idea for this great run to get tags (or whatever they are called) for Spain, France and Italy?
