Hi Newton, The basic timetable is shown below.

I'll aim to be there for 8am and will be around all day.

08:30 – Sign on and briefing Scrutineering Bay (Inner Paddock) AM group
09:00 – Activity commences on Wet Grip
12:30 – Lunch Break
13:00 – Sign on and briefing Scruitineering Bay (Inner Paddock) PM Group
13:30 – Activity commences on Wet Grip
17:00 – End

I don't think there is, couple that to the fact that you're not likely to be revving over 3-4000rpm anyway.

Hi All,

The itinerary is as posted above, but here are some additional details...

Marcos, there is a 105db static noise limit.

Everyone will need to present their road license with counterpart or race license.
Cars must all be either road or race legal and MOT'ed.
Helmets are not compulsory.
All drivers and passengers are required to sign on and attend the appropriate scrutineering / briefing.
Sensible clothing is advised - long sleeves and appropriate footwear.

For anyone interested, there will be a bike track day going on at the international circuit throughout the day.

There's an iPhone app Dan (in fact there's a few). Not the most accurate but will give you a rough idea.

105dB is pretty much *no* noise limit, that's pretty generous! Hoping I can find the counterpart to my license...

I haven't seen the counterpart to my licence in years - do you think this will be a problem? It's never been an issue when hiring cars in the past.

Don't think I will have the engine conversion complete in time for the day, certainly not tested for as long as I would like. Might be some FWD fun for me instead!

Did not need it when we went to Llandow, Castle Coombe nor Dubai Autodrome (happy days, racing R8's all day in the desert on an F1 ready track), just the licence bit.

You do need it though when hiring a car, but that's down to the insurance companies.

Miles, I am now unsure whether Adrian will make the day or not. His M3 was stolen for the second time yesterday morning (we believe by the same thieves) but sadly this time they either found the tracker unit or jammed the signal. Unlikely it'll be back in time and I don't know if he'll have bought a replacement in the meantime. I will keep you posted.
