It's with great pleasure that I would like to announce a new Maserati member is on his or her way.

Congratulations to SimonM and Piper at the announcement that they are expecting, just announced at the casino in Trouville, France.

On behalf of the forum I would like to extent our congratulations to the very happy couple and I invite your comments below....

Warmest Congrats in order Si and Piper, god i envy you both , those sleepless nights fraught with worry , going to work in a daze , coming home from work and forgetting that extra pack of nappies that you should have remembered , not being able to get your own stuff in the car because of all the baby seats /gear , house, constantly in a mess , oh yes it grows on you and seems fashionable , child locks on all the doors stairs etc oh yes i envy you NOT , makes me remember the film Damian

Really its not that bad hehehe and after all its only for 16 years or so , give or take a little , enjoy it i did believe it or not cynicle as i am ,i now have to wonderfull lads/grown men to prove it oh and a few laughter lines

I brought up the subject of babies and the GS and was firmly told that it will be going nowhere, seconded by Piper.

Well done to you both...I also note you did not try the line...I'm rushing my expecting wife back to England with the Gendarme's this afternoon Simon...or it did not work today!

Congratulations to you both, don't let it spoil the maserati fun, my two year old calls mine her racing car, nothing better than driving around together with her baby seat in the front and a big smile on both our faces....

Not much to tell - got nicked by the french coppers doing 150.....fortunately it was KPH this time hehe - paid my 45 Euro, I assume there won't be any points heading my way via this new database sharing thing I've heard about (i bloody hope not otherwise I'll be taking a "break"!).

Thanks all for the wellwishing - Piper want's to say Hi and thankyou to all - we only found out on Friday night so I'm still in shock!!

nope, I saw the camera that got me actually - on a tripod tucked behind a hedge - they were waiting at the booth though. Must admit I crapped myself as I'd been going a "little faster" a few miles before
