Poor Enz has a rumbling wheel bearing so he's riding with Paul & Dan - a slightly loaded 3200 for the commute then!

I have also bullies Enzo into some very nice driving gloves for his Alfa, I plan to have everyone in them by the end of the race

All staying safe and sober, great atmosphere here and at the track. Hopefully meet up with Matt's crew soon!

Enzo has Florence here but isn't doing the daily circuit run with her which is a shame. Watched the Le Mans move today and that's all we've accomplished so far - very relaxing place this...

What rotten luck for Enzo; I'd guess it is likely to be nearside rear... possibly got brinelled during the impact - it was hard enough to shatter that wheel so could quite easily have dented the bearing surface.

Hope it doesn't detract from the weekends fun though.

Excellent weekend... lovely to see Paul and Lewis again, and to meet Dean, Dan and Sam for the first time...
Plus had a BBQ last night with Matt and lots of guys (sorry can't remember the names...and no, I wasn't drunk!).
Real shame Peter and Loz could not be there...we missed them.
So, back home now, safe and sound...1021 miles covered in Florence, not bad for a first drive
(Didn't do the 100 mile daily round trip to the circuit for a couple of days, but very pleased I went in on race start and finish days...)
Need to sort out a noisy wheel bearing...and give her a nice wash
Will post a few pics of the race tomorrow.
