Fault of the people behind. That Tesla didn’t even stop quickly. I had an engine seize in a Maestro van right where the M6 meets the M42. By the time I’d dipped the clutch there was no momentum left to get to safety. Ended up stuck right where the lanes join. Scary as ****, just sitting there waiting to get hit from behind.

The federal agency has investigated 35 crashes involving Tesla cars where full self-driving or autopilot systems were "likely" in use, killing 19 people.

Well done Elon Musk, guilty of corporate manslaughter.
I wonder what the collision rates are when compared with no assistance. I wonder if it might be similar to the Airbus vs Boeing discussion in the 80s.

The 4200 would pop out of gear if a door was opened and you were stationary. The door had to be closed before you can re-engage a gear. A learning point for Tesla?
Yup. Even our Fiat 500 does that. Honestly, it's the most basic safety feature. That Tesla doesn't do it demonstrates a spectacular ignorance and disregard for safety. Terrifying, really.

No excuse for running into the back of a car (unless perhaps if that car hits something that stops it faster than safe braking distance can compensate for).

Amd I agree, you shouldn’t need a car to tell you the door is open, the term snowflake comes to mind.

Ah come on, you can't blame the car when the driver drives off with one of the doors open. you don't need a Tesla to be an idiot.
No no no no no.
Teslas were put on the planet as a conduit for stupidity, as the videos prove; all this virtue signalling to save the planet, and not a brain cell between them.

Don't worry, I'm only joking - I think ;)
